The BPP-440 offers a terminal-style serial interface with these advanced features:

  • 1200 - 9600 baud serial input with 64-byte buffer
  • High-contrast, supertwist LCD screen
  • Serially controlled LED backlight
  • Output for a piezo buzzer that responds to the ASCII bell character
  • Large-character mode automatically generates 4-line-tall symbols (0-9 and A-Z)
  • Automatic right-alignment features for easy spreadsheet-style formatting of frequently updated data fields
