Author's Description and Contact Info

I have just developed a command-line utility for Linux to show on the screen a BMP file image.

It uses the following format:

sgxbmp port baud bmpfile flag

where:

  • port is /dev/ttyS0 or other
  • baud is baud rate (9600/...)
  • bmpfile is the file name (seetron.bmp)
  • and flag is 0 to display the image normal and 1 to display the image in reverse mode.

Attached you will find the source code and the executable build under Linux Red Hat 6.1.

Actually I have not added the feature to download the image on the EEPROM (I don't need it now), but I will add it and I will send you the new program to do it.

Sincerely,

Christian Passarelli
